For every one of these people you could find (by my count) at least 40 to 50 thousand veterans IN COLORADO who recognize that the Democrats decimated the Armed Services under Clinton and did everything they could to manufacture a defeat in Iraq for political expediency. What a charade! How would I know? Well I'm not a Veteran, I'm ACTIVE DUTY ARMY. But feel free to denigrate my service because I disagree with you. Latest Combat Headline? Bored in Iraq. Just imagine the callousness and extremism represented by this man's votes against veterans with quadraplegia, disfiguring burns, traumatic head injuries, post traumatic stress disorder, weeping wounds so deep they never heal and must be packed with gauze by a veteran's spouse every day for the rest of their life. And Schaffer wants Coloradans to return him to Congress. Thank God for COURAGEOUS veterans like Sharrock, Drake, Barrero, and Crow, who will share the FACTS with fellow citizens.

Excellent! Real veterans want leaders who actually support veterans and don't just give lip service. Righties like Schaffer are so religious about their anti-government views they can't even bring themselves to support funding for the Veterans Administration. But millions of vets depend on the VA for their healthcare, including wounded service men and women returning from Iraq. Shame on Schaffer.
