yes..they straight jacked das efx here...but the funny thing is redman was their dj back in the day..hmmmm...big ups though..it's still a classic..marley knew what he was doing..
@enokaka It's funny how they tried to say that they weren't dissing Das, but at the beginning of this song, they say "This is for the brothers that don't know how to give a REAL mic check", and this came out not too long after "Mic Checka", a Das video shot in the sewer.
Street flow gives me hope for the future generation, but what I dig about golden age of hip hop genre era is that it was half intellectual & half street rooted now it's just ignorant fool's trying to make up stupid words & fronting like its innovative, I see so many great older artist who are still strong & talented but seem like there giving up or giving in because of the stupid trendy media, ya know when I was a kid in the hood the street veterans used to check the young fools if they got ou
I trip out hearing these young clueless little rapper's politely asking us YouTube watchers to please support them to please listen to their music, FUCK THAT! NO ONE'S GONNA GIVE IT THE YA, YOU GOT TO TAKE! Break the walls down mother fucker & make yourself be heard

actually hip hop is far from wack these days, underground hip hop artists go hard as hell for fans. check the internet for tickets to one of their shows, alot of underground hip hop artists say "fuck the money, i just want ppl to listen to my shit and pay a little bit of cash to check out the live shows" dont give up on modern hip hop. even some mainstream artists like lloyd banks from g unit go hard as fuck. the stuff you guys are criticising is meant for women
when p diddy puff daddy hit the scene hip hop went down hill then everyone copied him on sampling every song and they saw dollar signs. Sure they did sample back in the day but not rap over a complete songs like p diddy
Love this song, been listening to it on a constant basis. Lol I still find the lyrics quite cheesy though "Can I slam like bam bam, that kid from bedrock" LMFAO. That was hilarious, still a dope ass track though. Can't deny that, I have to get a better quality of this song, I'd play the shit out of it on the stereo.

@xk52 Plenty of new rap can compare to old rap. You just aren't looking hard enough. Check out Blackalicious, Chief Kamachi, Jurassic 5, Sean Price, Blu & Exile.
Ignorant fools.
