  • he looked like such a nice guy and a fucking sweetheart...

  • Unique style came in part from learning Rush songs BACKWARDS when they were kids. He rigged the turntable to play backwards after they tired of playing the songs the regular way. You can here it in his riffs, like a machine cycling through. Guy was a genius. VOIVOD LIVES

  • R I P PIGGY

  • Great Voivod! My favourite Band. Fantastic Guitarist Piggy R.I.P.

  • saw these guys in 2003 and got to meet pig and the band. great guys.

  • R.I.P

  • This guy can play!

  • What happened to the real video?? I couldn't give two shits for seeing just the guitarist through the whole video.Jason Newsted is on Bass and this was their video to introduce Jason.

  • @Raggedyandy52k "We Carry On" is the name of the video Voivod. GitRDone! :)

  • Some of my favourite rythm guitar work as been brought to this world by Piggy.

    RIP.

  • you have the Jason Newsted cam????? I loved Piggy but I am also a big fan of Jason Newsted!!! as the video ones of Voivod with Jason Newsted his rare I seek all that I to find little!! tank's

  • @maurihardy Liberatore custom made guitar that is the name of the guitar well i checked it on wikipedia about piggy he's just legend and legends never dies

  • @maurihardy Actually his guitar is a Born To Rock F4C (google it). I need one of those!

  • @maurihardy i like his guitar from war & pain - dimension hatross

    that one was bad. ass!

  • Sadly, I've never had a chance to see Voivod play live. Voivod has been my favorite bands for a long, long time, even though I never was able to get used to Eric's vocals.

In my opinion, what Piggy left the band and what the band did with it for Katorz and Infini is incredible.

I hope that Voivod continues on.

    RIP

  • saw them last saturday it was AMAZING! i wish u will have a chance to see them

  • R.I.P.

  • Piggy was the kind of guitarist anyone would love the opportunity to jam with. It was his balls to the wall leads and unique utilization of diminished 5th, etc., that made him so friggin awesome. He's truly that rare diamond in the rough, that stands out from the rest RIP Piggy \w/

  • Piggy was sorely underrated. His style of play & sound was very unique.

Has anyone heard Infini yet? I'm picking it up this week...I'd like to hear what the genius left behind.

    RIP Piggy.

  • Multiverse has really grown on me. I once got into a fist fight over VOIVOD's good name, in 1992 or 1993. Piggy, you are SORELY missed.

  • Piggy was great because he had his own unique style and sound, and wasnot just another player in a line of endless shredders.

  • Fantastic. Thanks for adding this.

    Got any more footage?

  • RIP Piggy, amazing band...

  • Piggy was my main inspiration when I started to play guitar in 89. I'm very glad I saw this video. I met him twice, a real class act. I can wait for the next album.

  • R.I.P.,Master

  • Miss you, Denis.
