If you want to know how / why the engines are white when full power, you shall know it now!

When an engine is at full power, it suckes an enormous amount of air, when this happens, this air is compressed together and are so close that "air"will be visible / white.

As always the Landing and Takeoff of all PIA pilots are smooth no matter which Plane they are operating. . if you look closely to this video Singapore Airline Pilot takes much time to takeoff as compare to the PIA .. .. PIA is the most safest Airline on Planet with very much low accidental rate not only because of the experienced pilots but also the Engineering staff of PIA who maintain the Aircraft so well ........

@TheSallmann May Allah bless everyone...and your theory on pilots being smooth etc is completely faulted and miseducated :) Yes, they are exceptional pilots, but just because a pilot has a rough landing once in a while doesnt mean the airline doesnt have skilled pilots. Im sure there are plenty of stories of PIA pilots making crappy landings. Doesn't mean they arent of high standard, just that Mother Nature sometimes puts up quite a fight :)

PIA is one of safest airlines of the world. I travel alot and landings & take-offs of Pakistani pilots are very smooth. Emirates is great airline but their pilots have shaky hands during landings.

i'd love to have my own customized flights with scenic tours on the 777 with requested descents closer to see level for better views. that would be cool as commercial flights always stay at cruise level for the entire flight. Occasionally in the past pilots have actually decended for the passengers to see stuff better but once there was a pilot who did this for this exact reason and there was an accident and he avoided with terrain

I think the Boeing 777 has to be my favourite commerical plane of recent times, coupled with its huge engines..a true beast. As a passenger it often provides the most comfort in most of the seat configurations and feels spacious, even when I compare to the airbus A380 of which i must admit I am not a big fan.

I think one ot the advantages of the Trents three spool configuration is that it can be spooled up faster due to its ability to metamorphise itself more efficiently. Charles Darwin in his 'origin of the species' put forward the theory that life evolves and adapts itself to the surrounding environment. Or natural selection if you like. For this reason - for me - the Trent is the more efficient engine.
