  • well she aint got real skill but avarija compensates that^^

  • Imagine how you'll feel when you visit a video (on some tube), see a particular comment, and it says posted 30 years ago. I have no idea why I'm even posting this... but it was definitely thought provoking. One of my favorite songs of all time ftw!

  • what means malinki in german ?

  • @Jumpstiler2008

"Malina" sind Himbeeren. "Malinki" ist die verniedlichte Form von Himbeere, etwa "Himbeerchen".

  • @Jumpstiler2008 its not german its russian. it means Raspbery. i guess...

and its a very common Village name in slavic countries. theres malinki village almost everywhere.

  • @Jumpstiler2008 Are you asking to have it translated to German? In German it means 'himbeere' I think. That's what the translator said. Sorry if I'm wrong.

    sincerely draco

  • First: Cyril and Mefodiy were Greek Macedons.

Second: I agree with mup1, but I just wanna add that Cyril and Mefodiy made cyrillic letter as a gift of Byzantium to all unliterated Slavs that willing to stay or become orthodox and resisting against pope's influence and latin letter. So nowadays, Slavs like Serbs, Russians, Ukranians... managed to keep thier orthodox faith and cyrillic letter.

  • that is funny; slavs had their own alphabet long before the greekish alphabet was introduced. Check your facts man; it is the same with turks, who changed from the turkish script to arab and then from arab script to latin; or hungarians, who changed from hungarian writing to latin; or germans, who changed from runnic writing to latin as well. religion&politics had a major part, but saying these nations did not have their own writing is a shame and a lie.

  • I am sorry kldyn, but I have to disagree with you. I think that your assumptions are far away from truth.

  • dear cp6un; I believe your using of the term "assumption" is not quite well; you have to accept that facts are facts: even though only a small percentage of Europe's and Euroasia's population was able to read&write throughout the ages (until the Industrial Age); yet most courts and religious orders were able to write long before Christianity - and thus Greek and Latin- spread to the above mentioned peoples.

Please read up or at least cite a proper paper or book to prove your argument of denial.

  • Cyrillic alphabet and Russian are same. It was making by Saints Cyril And Mefodiy in the middle of 10th-century. It was based on the Greek script but it was new alphabet. Trust me, I know. )))

  • great song ;)

  • Зачётная сказка. :)

  • liubliu etu pesniu i love this song

  • This video I often saw when I was living in Tallinn a few years ago. I still enjoy it :)

  • what does malinki mean lol/

  • it means berries

  • malinki means little.

  • no it doesnt it means rasberry

  • Raspberry is Malina/малина.

    Small is маленький/Malenky.

Neither one really transliterates to Malinki unless you add the diminutive. As well Malinki in one variant or another are areas in Russia Ukraine and Belarus.

You have to derive the meaning by the context of the content.

  • Which in this case is hard to do. It is a literary play on words...a pun. This is a deliberate exploitation of similar sounding words for the purpose of humour! You don't know if she is referring to the little people, the town where she landed or raspberries (?)

    Berry is Yagada ягода.

And just ust thought I'd add for smiles... Malinka or Malinki is a hickey in Polish!

  • So yes in the beginning of the video she's got fruit (berries) with her coctails...but in the grand scheme of how the video turns out, It just seems to me in this video she is talking about the little guys. It ooks like a Snow White kind of story!

  • zajebista
