The Turtles were dead serious in the comics, the narration is funny (of course, because I would've been reading this action). The 80's turtles dropping their weapons and running kind of sucks though, come on guys! The Turtles (prime) sound like mock kung fu movie dialogue, even they are amusing in their manner.
