I completed the 129F. The information they require is easy. The forms can be completed online and then printed. It all takes time. Photos, I-134 affidavit of support.

129F. Letter from employer showing income. Letter from bank showing assets. Divorce decrees if applicable. Biographical data. $340 fee. All of the requirements are listed in the instructions for filing the 129F PDF file located on the US State Dept website. The real fun starts when your fiance gets her packet of instructions!!!

Thinking you are filing in a few forms as if applying for a drivers licence is a BIG mistake. The MAJOR part of the petition, is providing sufficient and believable proof that the relationship is bone fide. The lack of well chosen and ample proof is what most often causes denial. It is not a question of supporting for 3 years, it is being "RESPONSIBLE" in case the fiancee goes on welfare. After marriage, in applying for a Green card the sponsor will be responsible for 10 years.
