  • How much do you have to be "making" in order to pass the Affidavit of Support? Because that is the only document that is stopping me.

  • $14,700

  • Ok what if one of the things for the petition is missed, then they ask you and you provide them,is that gonna take very long then?

  • It depends on what is missing. And depends on which consulate. For example a missing tax return, might delay the approval for 1 month in Manila but for 3 months in Ho Chi Minh City. Your best approach is to make sure ALL documents are ready, and presented when requested.

  • It is very informative. Please let me know how to contact you.

  • Best is you speak with me personally, I am at 1-800-806-3210 x 702, M-F, 9-5, California time.

Or visit fianceevisaservices. com and click on contact to send me an email.

I look forward to speaking with you.,

  • I completed the 129F. The information they require is easy. The forms can be completed online and then printed. It all takes time. Photos, I-134 affidavit of support.

129F. Letter from employer showing income. Letter from bank showing assets. Divorce decrees if applicable. Biographical data. $340 fee. All of the requirements are listed in the instructions for filing the 129F PDF file located on the US State Dept website. The real fun starts when your fiance gets her packet of instructions!!!

  • Thinking you are filing in a few forms as if applying for a drivers licence is a BIG mistake. The MAJOR part of the petition, is providing sufficient and believable proof that the relationship is bone fide. The lack of well chosen and ample proof is what most often causes denial. That is where experience is very helpful. Best of luck.

  • Does the US citizen have to be able to support the spouse for 3 years? Is this necessary?

  • It is not a question of supporting for 3 years, it is being "RESPONSIBLE" in case the fiancee goes on welfare. After marriage, in applying for a Green card the sponsor will be responsible for 10 years.
