i never got the fake east euro voice! i once interviewed Lene for radio 1 and she has one of the softest, most beautiful voices i've ever heard, without a trace of Slav. Use it girl!!!

There's a lot to be said for the way this couple operates, of course... but I can't help feeling that at this point Lene could use some outside production smarts. If someone like Brian Eno or Danger Mouse were to produce an album for her, it might bring her back into the public ear (and eye). She is so deserving of that.

there's a group called Adult. Some guy played me a couple of their songs, telling me how "original" they are. I said, "man, you better get on youtube and type in Lene Lovich to find out where that so called originality came from. Lene was an originator, hell, she even sang on Chuck Berry's song "My Ding A Ling". That's how far back we're talking.
