Some idiot on a Bryan Ferry said that Bryan said and this person agreed that America wasn't ready for the sophistication and my response was not everyone want's to hear Latin and African beats maybe some of us don't like it at all. This song is loaded with emotion and beautiful sophisticated writing.Crimson Glory is awesome and just one more band proving American music really does set the pace for the world, sure pop is poop and I don't like hip hop either because it's soulless garbage/retarded.
This song brings back many memories. Memories of an ex gf (my 1st love) back in the teen years. Awesome song then and still is. Looked for it for years, thanks.
This is the first time i remember hearing this song, and it strikes me as very similar to Queensryche on their Operation:Mindcrime release. (For the record, my favorite music release by anyone!)
how good is this song ??????? nothing touches it . r.i.p. midnight .and to the rest of the band please keep rocking and keep it loud .. and oh yes up the irons too from the uk
I have this album on vinyl and when I want to fuck with friends I'll crank this song knowing full well they will beg me to tell them what band this is. Then I say.."sit down..let me tell you about Crimson Glory and Midnight..."
Now I feeeeel the bridge iiis buuuuuuuuuuuuuur-niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!! I LOVE THE VOCALS AND MELODY!!!!! Crimson Glory is / was an awesome band!
Probably 'cause there was already a queensryche, and neither the industry nor fans of metal dig bands that don't have much originality. Even if they are technically proficient and pretty good song writers.
I grew up trying to find bands that were metal yet had the power of sadness, CG was that sound. It still resonates with me. Fuck everyone else. For their genre, they were the best. I'm tired of people judging Midnight for his personal shortcomings, I fucking get it. All you perfect people who can play, write and sing 3 1/2 octaves step up.
@innocentfox69 They don't get it man .To be able to convey feeling so easily , you HAVE to feel it yourself , you cant communicate what you don't have or know . Its not chance that the best artists always were tormented souls , their feelings overpowering them and guiding their lives to paths people don't usually take . Many artists are suicidal and self destructive , usually the true ones . This song will haunt me forever , the feelings are beyond words .....
I believe musically this song is truly Epic like stairway to heaven or warpigs seriously!!I think this was their best album and this song is their masterpiece;one of those song's you can listen to and then right away listen again,so emotional and musical.
This song was not only great but it is also has much personal meaning for me back in germany 1988.
