Let's put it like this: if you hate rap music, there's nothing I can do to make you think that it is any more than garbage. HOWEVER, regardless of how much you dislike rap, it is what it is- a form of music that many people enjoy. Same thing with IDT. Just because you read complaints on a website about IDT doesn't mean the whole concept is garbage. Many ppl have it and are very happy. Besides, when is the last time you read a blog giving props to a company? ppl only speak up when they're pissed.

Look, even Superman has haters, I'm not saying that all the IDT representatives that walk the field are honest and noble, most of them are regular guys with a few days training. And there have been incidences of reported fraud and theft involving IDT agents, that is true, but do you hate on the entire McDonalds corporation simply because one of their employees stole your bike? or shot someone? It's not IDT's fault that these girls are idiots. I'm SURE they were fired. But IDT is NOT a SCAM.

That being stated, The girls ARE intruding if the owner asked them to leave, but IDT is definitely the real deal, as opposed to other ESCOs like US Energy, well known for locking people into contracts for 5 years, charging higher rates, and forcing people to pay ridiculous cancellation fees up to and beyond $500. IDT is FREE, there are NO binding contracts, and you are GUARANTEED to save money. I'm speaking from personal experience here. The girls are right only in their motive, not their method

I know about IDT Energy. It is certainly NOT a scam. It's an ESCO, or Energy Supply COmpany, from which your local Utility company buys its Gas/Electricity. IDT is huge and supplies most of the eastern sea board with energy. Those girls don't represent the Utility company per se, however they are there to explain how to receive the direct wholesale cost for your energy without affecting your relationship with your utility company. You guys should really do some research before you throw stones.
