Thats a good question ;)

For me it's easier to make friends with foreigners. With Japanese I can still be friends, but I have to put all the effort into it, kinda gay. Like if I meet a foreigner, ask where they are from, etc. get their contact info, then call them up a week later, that is cool. Can't do the same with the Japanese people I've met. MOst of my Japanese friends speak some English and are some what Internationalized ^^
