I checked this out after reading 2012: The Anti-Soul, an ebook by some guy I've never heard of. The book was one of the scariest I've read and I wanted to know if the author was involved in this project. Turns out he's not but what's weird is this music has some of the same feel to it as that book.

I like to go to this stage and make Leon dance to the music. I just go to a room, beat all the enemies, and do a victory dance to the groovy music. Press the block button and make him scoot dance. Do some crazy acrobatic dancing. Leon isn't just a warrior...he's a fierce dancer.

Being an old timer like the AVGN, I didn't play castlevania games after Symphony of the night as I prefered the good old action/platforming style... And sadly I just don't feel anything while listening to this. The techno beat and all that stuff... @alxxz hi yes this IS a Castlevania game. It tells the story of the 1st Belmont and Creator of the Belmont Clan: Leon Belmont.

It's...not as big as SotN... it has 7 stages and mostly of the stages have 2 parts...the stages are actually pretty short tho...

Secrets? yes it has some: Secret bosses, hidden weapons and itens and a few secret areas.

This game is pretty fun to play and it isn't as gory and repetitive as GoW...and the music just makes you wanna play some more :D

Every enemy have fixed drops.. upp to two drops each, some enemies drop nothing.

There is a bestiary in game that tell what they drop, if they have droped anything up til the point you look it up.

If they have not droped anything yet there will be marked with "?????" so you'll know if they can drop anything.

Every Castlevania game post Symphony of the nighty work like that.

Funny how 'Lament of Innocence' often got criticized for being just another DMC clone. Diehard 2D CV fans simply wouldn't be pleased, I guess.

I still liked playing this PS2 'CastleVania' title. Great action-oriented gameplay that actually worked in 3D.
