The first part of the first round Silva did have Chonan in that body triangle but couldn't finish and ended up on his back eventually getting a card for stalling. The Second round Chonan spends most of the round on top tagging Silva? Maybe you didn't see all those inside leg kicks land .Chonan was winning that fight and was the better fighter that night.

Heel hooks aren't banned in the ufc, just ask Rousimar Palhares. And I heard the reason he tapped quick was he entered that fight with an ankle injury and that happened to be the ankle chonnan got ahold of. Either way cool scissor takedown tho.

One of the only reason this worked is because you should never throw this against a seasoned fighter. They should know how to deal with it. That is why it worked. Anderson did not think someone was crazy enough to do it against him. That is also why he tapped out so quick. He didn't want to hurt his legs. They are one of his prized possessions and greatest strengths. Beautiful execution by this guy but I bet he could never do it again.
