@Hmmfomtgal Another Wonderful Life, the girl version of AWL, is and always will be my favorite Harvest Moon game! It's the most melancholy, relaxing game I've ever played, while it can, like many Harvest Moon games, be slow at times. I'll never understand why Harvest Moon isn't as popular as other games like the Legend of Zelda and such. It's such a beautiful series. So yeah, I WOULD get AWL :)

I really don't understand what it is about this game that's so addicting and comforting. When I first bought it, I played it for hours upon hours tucked up in a small room during Winter break. My family would make fun of me that I was so addicted to a game all about farming, but they just didn't understand. I lost the game a couple years ago, but more than ever would I like to play it again. And there's something about the Wii Harvest Moons that just don't do it for me. They're different.

When I was young, I played Harvest Moon on the 64 and fell absolutely in love with it. As I grew a bit older and the Gamecube was released, I bought it for the sole reason that a Harvest Moon would be on it. I played this game for hours, pretending that somewhere in the world, there was a small, quiet, friendly town like this tucked away in some corner and that I would grow up to find it. I'm a botanist today, and I'd like to think that it was these games that made me that way.

I'm so glad my Gamcube still works! They don't sell them anymore, but the PS2 is still going strong? PS2 is much older...

My brother and I would fight about whose turn it was to play and we'd play for hours and hours! We were so little, we couldn't figure out why our plants weren't growing; I found out we never filled the watering can, XD.

If you don't fill it and try to use it you just get these few drops, but we thought that was just how it looked!
