It's kind of a long explanation, and I'd rather not give it all away...especially on youtube. Take from this what you will. 

They are/were a family. Katee is the mom, Clarisse is the kid, I was the father. It obviously didn't work out between the mother and father, that's why Katee walks away with Clarisse at the end.

That should get you going on the right track.

Wow, I totally thought of a different thing. I knew that you & katee was a couple... I knew that you two were having problems. I thought of Clarisse like a friend... The person that tries so hard to keep you & katee together but most of the time the person that acts like a "bridge" ends up falling for one of the person... So I thought the ending is that... no matter how hard you guys tried to stay together... things just didn't work out... and in the end Katee & Clarisse fell in love. ;]
