Unlike the JooJoo the iPad actually be used in a number of different applications, such as a casual gaming console, an e-reader, a portable digital painter ((brushes on iPad)), as well as a web surfer. JooJoo can surf the web... that's it. It's a terrible device and is overpriced for the limited applications that it has.
While you make a good point, as somebody who has Hackintosh'd a Dell mini (and was still disappointed with the hardware) I can tell you it's going to make for a crappy user experience.
If it wasn't designed to be used that way, it's probably not going to suit your needs.

most touch devices don't operate as smooth as apple touch products and thats one of the main problems, joojoo is actually quite nice, i love the wide screen and its flash but its kinda glitchy and it doesn't have 3g support for web on the go, that wifi hotspot stuff can be kinda annoying especially when you can't find a free one, lol and no app store, one of my favorite things about apple products and neither has webcam, perhaps thats something will see on the next generation

The iPad is much more than just a large iPhone or iPod Touch. The JooJoo is JUST an internet device and sells for the same price as the iPad. There are no Apps and since any apps it does have run in the cloud you won't have access in an area with neither wifi or even spotty 3G access. And Flash will really drain battery life. The JooJoo, on paper, seems decent, but has only sold less than 100 copies. I have an iPad and its seriously much more than just a large iPod.
@themyk7 a Jailbroken ipad can run flash; ipad is THE most versatile slate on the market/available in the near future - as long as you break out of apple's "walled-garden" safezone approach to computing.

JooJoo looks to be unresponsive and the touch gestures just don't look as natural as the ones used on Apple touch devices.
The 16:9 aspect ratio makes it look stupid, i see now why Apple went for 4:3.
The JooJoo also takes nearly 10 seconds from powering on to be able to browse the web whereas the iPad is pretty much instant.
I don't think this device will be worrying Steve Jobs and the Apple shareholders.

@themyk7 SUPPORT FLASH! But you can't run it full screen because gets jerky, and even worse with HD videos. It last 3 hours. Have no apps. It has a USB that is not enabled for storage and neither can use peripherals.
Why on earth would I like spent as much as the iPad for something that does nothing but browsing? Saying that tablet are ment just for internet is a lame excuse when you price it $499.

The iPad is much more than just a large iPhone or iPod Touch. The JooJoo is JUST an internet device and sells for the same price as the iPad. There are no Apps and since any apps it does have run in the cloud you won't have access in an area with neither wifi or even spotty 3G access. And Flash will really drain battery life. The JooJoo, on paper, seems decent, but has only sold less than 100 copies. I have an iPad and its seriously much more than just a large iPod.
