SG1 was in my opinion much better then Atlantis. Until I saw season 5 of Atlantis which rocked!!! Season 5 caused Atlantis to be on the same par as SG1 in my mind.

What the hell happened to MGM? SGU started to turn into a really good show past the first half of it's first season. Bumpy rides are always going to happen in everything, even in books and games.

@Zeemis - Sorry, I'm being a big bitch! I'm still pretty angry that they cancelled SGA with a lot of unanswered questions, promised us a movie then ditched it for SGU. The fact that SGU, IMOO, was not that good at all and now they're cancelling SGU with a gigantic cliffhanger is just ridiculous!! Also, that they keep telling us the SGA will be made is laughable after so long. Plus, they told us that the SGA movie would have more of a chance if people kept watching SGU - I say F*ck you SG TPTB!!!

Eh. Stargate: Atlantis was reaching an ending point. It could've had another season or two if S5 had been done differently, but I'm glad it didn't go the way of SG:1 and throwing in ever more improbably and stronger badguys. SG:1 was getting vaguely DBZ-esq with the 'Oh man a bigger bad!'

I would like to see another show running concurrent to SG:U though; something dealing with the program becoming public maybe?
