B) Why isn't that Tiger overpowering the two dogs (they're certainly not playing) and C) Has the Tiger been chained to that tree so the two dogs can have an advantage.

Great Danes were breed to hunt large game, so yes if they outnumbered it the tiger wouldnt fight due to fear of getting injured which would prevent it to survive, so they woudnt have to actually kill it. Also ive witnessed my 18 lbs jack russel take down a full grown lynx 20-25 lbs and waited for me to catch up to him sitting with a paw on its neck, so yea dogs can and will take down larger game if they feel the need. If they´re standing on they back legs they might reach 6ft, my dog do to. But they don´t do that very often, do they? And it is´nt how you measure the height of a dog. In that case wiener-dogs can theoreticly reach a heght of about 2,5ft, right?

A 13 foot siberian tiger is simply not true. Their size has been exaggerated for to long, and I am sick of it. They have about the same size bodies as bengal tiger, they just have thicker coats. And they hardly weigh more than the bengal if at all. The largest wild tiger ever was a bengal tiger that weighed 857lbs. and was 11ft. 1in. But even then it was gorged and actually weighed much less.

A bear is a hell of a lot stronger than a tiger, don't delude yourself. Besides, dogs are pack hunters which is almost always more effective than a single animal. Great danes being huge helps a lot too.
Bears always avoid a fight and will climb up a tree when a pack of noisy dogs comes. Then the hunter comes with the rifle and shoots it out of the tree. Hunting bears isn't a deathmatch between two animals. You could use chihuhahuas to hunt bears. They are much irritating than great danes.
In the past Great Danes were used for Lion and Tiger hunting they would always use a minimum of two dogs though and would have to be minimum height of 90 Cm at the shoulders before hunters would use them. I found it astonishing at first but after seeing one of my mates great danes on his farm corner a fox into a little bush and stick his head in the bush and pull out the fox in no less than a second.

A 13 foot siberian tiger is simply not true. Their size has been exaggerated for to long, and I am sick of it. They have about the same size bodies as bengal tiger, they just have thicker coats. And they hardly weigh more than the bengal if at all. The largest wild tiger ever was a bengal tiger that weighed 857lbs. and was 11ft. 1in. But even then it was gorged and actually weighed much less.

Last documented tiger and dogs fight in wild were in Indian National park. where 55 wild dogs
attacked a full grown tiger and the battle lasted for nearly hour. tiger terribly wounded left to die but tiger managed to kill 28 dogs.
Eventually other dogs left. This whole thing was filmed by a tiger scientist and available on net.I'm looking for the same. unfortunately Not here on you tube

People, it's just a movie; it's not real - if 2 Great Danes were really to attack anything other than a very young Tiger they would have no chance.
Tigers are by far the largest of the big cats, and certainly bigger than any canines.

A bear is a hell of a lot stronger than a tiger, don't delude yourself. Besides, dogs are pack hunters which is almost always more effective than a single animal. Great danes being huge helps a lot too.

Bears always avoid a fight and will climb up a tree when a pack of noisy dogs comes. Then the hunter comes with the rifle and shoots it out of the tree. Hunting bears isn't a deathmatch between two animals. You could use chihuhahuas to hunt bears. They are much irritating than great danes.

In the past Great Danes were used for Lion and Tiger hunting they would always use a minimum of two dogs though and would have to be minimum height of 90 Cm at the shoulders before hunters would use them. I found it astonishing at first but after seeing one of my mates great danes on his farm corner a fox into a little bush and stick his head in the bush and pull out the fox in no less than a second.

ive seen alot of wolves and i ve now seen up to 65kg kangals in photos.. how are kangal's heads smaller? Also wolves are used to long chases, wearing something down, and quite often "giving up" most protection/hunting/fighting dogs never give up
my pitbull cross would have killed a wild wolf no problem, and she would have been smaller with a smaller head. I would bet my house that she would kill a wolf.

pitbull in its prime will be no match for a wolf in its prime a wolf has far more agility size weight and strength and much more clever than a pitbull but then what is it crossed with, also you said she,. bitches are much smaller than dogs, i use to breed staffordshires which were bread to make pitbulls same dog apart from size, i now have 2 danes a very large male pit might stand a chance less than 50 - 50...NOTE just my opinion im not quoting il except im wrong with proof

never heard of kangols but i just read about them on wiki, i like them alot, too bad they are more protectors than hunters. Wiki said "There are certain experts who dispute the kangal's alleged wolf-killing abilities, citing the fact that wolves outmatch dogs in head size and jaw strength" surely this is rubbish?

dunno about ridgebacks being the only ones brave enough, a pack of pitbulls? Pittys are far more mental than ridgebacks. We use crossbred pittys to hunt wild boar in australia, they will fight any pig to the death while ridgebacks tend to be bailers, ie. they bark instead of bite, we have to cross breed them to make them actually grab instead of just flucshing the pigs out. They are sweet once crossed though, good nose for big athletic dogs.

This is 100% fake. It is a Hollywood movie. You could kill a tiger with dogs, but it would take at least twenty dogs and a dozen of the dogs would be dead with the tiger. That is the way it happens with wild dogs. One swipe of a tiger's paw can break the back of a buffalo.

The dogs, working in revolving groups, kept the lion at bay until the hunter arrived to dispatch the occupied lion with a well placed rifle shot from relatively close range.
