I noticed that the traction motor acceleration sounds different from a regular ALP46. Those engines also have New Cast K5LA horns like those on the bilevels.
Awesome!! I like when the engineer only gives like one bell ring pulling away, but sometimes it's nice to have that railroad ambiance with plenty of horn and bell mixed in with the traction, brake, and wheel on rail sounds. I cannot wait to see the rest of these retire the somewhat problematic older set of 44's that have been run ragged with no rebuild.
the typical sound(s) of this newest IGBT-controlled ALP-46A traction equipment is a derivation from Pulse-Width-controlled RCT-thyristor Choppers introduced in both Belgian Locomotives and Dutch The Hague Articulated GTL8 Trams from 1970 onwards early pioneering in Power Electronics. Innovation started by ACEC / BN = Bombardier Bruges, but Siemens was 10 years later.!

Great catch! Do you know the schedule the locomotive is running on? I really want to find one! Great video!

@NJTAmtrakGuy Thanks!
Apparently the schedule the train is going to run is 608, 6324, and 649, monday through friday.

Awesome catch! 5 trillion stars! I also agree with Nexis4Jersey as the propulsion sounds incredibly better than the E-Bell (in this case).

Sick dude , although the bells kinda ruined the orgasmic propulsion...

@Nexis4Jersey I know, I was hoping the engineer shut it off before actually taking off
