  • Is there a chance of becoming mangaka if you are american? but speak fluent japanese?

  • @XdekishiX There's manga that's not from Japan. You can find non-Japan manga (US and Korean) online or at a bookstore that reads left to right (US and Korean format), some are even done in the right to left Japanese format. There's US publishing companies too. You don't have to move to Japan to become a manga-ka.

  • @ainman1986 Well the thing is that I dont live in america anymore and kind of cant go back because of family issues. Thats why I was asking and my sister has a flat in japan so it would be kind of easier to go to japan instead of korea or any other country but there is no manga where I live right now so I would have to move away anyway

  • @XdekishiX In that case, then I'd say it is possible to make manga in Japan even though you aren't Japanese, as long as you know how to read and write Japanese. I was just thinking it may be more difficult, but all I can say is good luck.

  • @ainman1986 ty^^

  • SHIT i want to go to a shop like that!!!!!

  • I think a mangaka really need the internet connection, digital cameras, and magazines as reference, just like me :).

  • CAPTIONS!

  • quand on voit tout c'est manga sa donne envi de lire tout

  • I'm just wondering, is thier a reason we never see mangakas using digital stuff

  • @whodoyothink I think the mangakas use very little or no digital help because they are very traditional.

  • genial

  • Arhggg...paper, pencils, rulers... Wacom = Heaven? :O

  • Come on, Its not that hard to understand French. If you have at least two years of this language you'll understand at lest five word out of ten.

  • а я Чебурашку увидела...0:55

  • Fantastic artists, but I don't envy them at all.

Your life is pretty much fucked 99,9% if you choose this job.

  • @megatroll noopp not true at all

  • @RiiccoIsTheBest

Well, it depends on what you expect in life.

I know professional mangaka who work for various magazines and such have a lot of commitments by their publishers and doing detailed color artworks takes quite some time. They basically sit all day at their computer. Not really what I would want, but to each his own.

  • I can understand some of it but I have only been studying French in school for 8 months so...

  • le Mangaka WHAT THE HELL COULD THAT BE

  • mangas are usually made manually?? O_O

  • i wanna high five everyone watching this who understands french :)

  • I can understand bits since French is similar to Spanish, which I'm taking! :D

  • I'm also lucky that Arte broadcasts in German, too, because it's a german/french station. France really has a problem opening up to the world. Very little is done bilingual. The situation seems to me even like with Japan.

  • i cant understand a thing here. ''le mangaka'' ? wth is that!

    joke.

  • esto viene en parte en ingle y en japones verdad

  • @dragon6855 It's Usamaru Furuya.
