Naik lost this one hands down. 1) He agreed the guy READ the QURAN and was not convinced about Islam or religion. Then he said "you were reading wrong books or maybe wrong upbringing". ... which implies the Quran is a wrong book. 2) Naik says how will a robber know why his actions are wrong....(without believing in hereafter)... this means that legal/emotional/family consequences have no effect on a robber,since he doesnt belive in hereafter. Thats stupid. 3) He confirmed apostacy.

Also.... even if his criteria for apostacy is true, that the converted have to OFFEND Islam before being Killed.... then what if non-muslims had the same rule applied to every person who has ever converted to islam and then BACK CHATTED about the non-muslim religions? Zakir is a guy who thinks its okay to make crap up and Islam has never said kill someone just beacuse they dont belive in Islam. In the Quran it says - Apostasy was not mentioned in the Qur'an and whenever it mentions apostasy it speaks about a punishment in the hereafter. Hope that helps. Take care

India official religion isn't Islamic, so nothing would happen. I was an atheist in India and no one really said anything different. Most casual Hindus only mention god at births, weddings, funerals, and when they tell their children to 'pray to god so you can get a 100% on your final exam'.
