  • your fucking legends if i ever see you homies on the mountain ill kick you some homegrown heat!

  • this is absolutely amazing, some of the greatest hip-hop ever recorded

  • this isnt on '93 tho

  • **Insert comment about how you miss old hip hop and crap here **

    Stfu and enjoy the music.

  • Like this? Scope the full crew. Heiroglyphics is Oak-town at its best IMO. Some other 'underground' -Styles of Beyond -Aceyalone -Aesop Rock -Company Flow -Immortal Technique (ROUGH, not so hip-hop but one of my favorites) -Jedi Mind Tricks (rough) -Gift of Gab -Necro (for those gothic/morbid types) A newer crew I like -The Reavers (Hassan Salam is dope)

  • @lukelibunao all i needed was one listen

in these current days are the days for the revolution of the mind

    PEACE

  • check my song out i know if i where you id ignore to but just check out

  • awesome. gotta love it

  • S O U L S O F M I S C H I E F = A M A Z I N G

  • theres something about this song that wen yu play it over and over each time yu play it its like hearing it for the first time and yu never get bored of it.. this is proper hiphop none of that gay R&B shit maan. keep it oldskool !!

  • yep these others post y2k thugs that couldnt flow though if they up'd the bass they'd up their game. "turns out you got drowned out of competing stealing content you been deciving"

  • Souls-of Mischief did some amazin interviews telling exactly how they write rhymes, classic tracks, collabing, the whole deal, in the book -HOW 'TO 'RAP

also in that book is Tribe, Kane, PE, Del, G Rap, Pharcyde, lots of dope MCs giving some real insights

  • @Thedarkheritage1 Where can America find this book??

  • @Thedarkheritage1 yeah and Ian Bavitz (Aesop Rock) great rapper right there. i need that book, prob. the only book i would read on my own haha

  • I've had the image that hip-hop/rap was shitty. Based on today's music. But when i dug deeper and found the older stuff, i was amazed. It's weird, as things age, they never get better, they tend to change and become worse.

  • @bonebreakerguy as south park say its called turning into a synicle bastard!! i am proudly 1

  • @optimum2008 That mean's you don't like anything, and you hate everything.

    All i said is that i hated today's hiphop/rap

  • man one good thing came from my generation is youtube. if it wasn't for youtube, i probably wouldn't have heard of tons of the artists i love

  • It would be nice to go to an older hip hop video on youtube and not have a "OH LIL WAYNE DICK RIDERZ" comment or "THIS IS REAL HIPHOP NOT LIKE NOW"

sure, there is alot of good old music, but there is sure a fuckton of good music nowadays i just think some people dont know where to look.

  • @coyay4cheese That isn't a reason to knock people that post comments on YT about Older music being better. If you think about it, to new listeners that aren't old enough or didn't grow up with any elements of Hip Hop culture around them (remember that it is global now) how else will they find out about it? It's not like it will be played on TV, radio, satellite, other media - if u don't know it exists u will form judgements on what u have access or are exposed to. So tell them where to look.

  • These guys pretty much create my whole playlist when im snowboarding, i don't go into competition without "Tour Stories" playing!

  • this is nice

  • LOL MFD00M7, funny sh!t man.....Dope song fa sho!

  • souls of mischief has some i the best samples ever!

  • soulja boy disliked this on 2 accounts

  • thats whats up!!

  • Greed is the root of all evil...

That was the cause of death to hip hop

  • "dougtl20" ........ I know you aint sayin' this joint is off 93' Til Infinity!!?? Your WRONG! This is off "Trilogy: Conflict, Climax, Resolution"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dropped in 2K!!

Of a nigga schemin' before I beat him like Peter Gages

I listen to many morons, Let 'em go on

    "

  • why aint this on 93 til infinity or is it on some other album

  • @BUD5MOKA1 This is off "Trilogy: Conflict, Climax, Resolution"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dropped in 2K!!

  • Im listen to this today in my car! One of the most slept on albums!!!

  • Why are people obbsesed with the mainstream, the main stream is shite so why bother with it, with tasty shit like this why would anyone even waste a thought on it.

  • sooo fuckin good....!

  • Just one question...how can you go from this amazing, beautiful, almost transcendental beat coupled with gorgeous lyrics in the 90's...and then have people like Lil' Wayne, T-Pain, and others completely forget about it and make acceptable bullshit for the masses?

  • @OGBTown I HEAR YEA i grew up on this i wish it could be like this still but its not so i hope we can somehow move on from all the fake bs

  • @OGBTown & Warrior - Because the Mainstream doesn't care about the music or culture. It cares about SALES. That's why youngers rate the best rappers as the ones who sell the most. Visit any Eminem vid on here to see that. Labels, radio, media, are only dipping into aspects of the culture they think are cool - ie 'coolness of the gangsta lifestyle' - anything that doesn't conform with that stereotype is 'alternative' and so unecessary.

  • @OGBTown Well, you could be a multi-billionaire BANKER who happens to own most of the music industry. Then, you could take it upon yourself to economically enslave the majority of the public to work, one way or another, for your bank. Then, being brilliant, you would realize that psychology can be used as a tool to control masses of people. Also, you realize that music activates nearly every part of the brain, making it very easy to add subliminal messages to music. Thus, you make lil wayne

  • @OGBTown Watch the youtube video"The illuminati Killed Michael Jackson part 2(Music Industry)". Watch part 1 and part 2.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. If you watch theses videos and are skeptical of its information, good. You should always be skeptical. You should also research the subject YOURSELF. Afterall, nobody can read a book for you. Nobody can learn for you. You have to be responsible for you own brain. It's your brain! And all of us are capable of genius.

  • esta fixe

  • Checkout "the ill speciez" on youtube. they sound just like this shit

  • feelgood record

  • Fuck are they great Such good lines such good Beats Souls And Heiro fucking rule anybody who says different deserves too get there head chopped off they should Come back too The WPG

  • @advanceadvance maybee we can start respecting peoples right to an opinion!!!!!!!!! Anywayz great peace. Peace

  • How would someone know about Souls of Mischief and say that they aren't as good as Lil wayne? The battle is between the underground and the mainstream, not the mainstream against the underground. Its the mainstream that ruined and forgot what real hip hop stands for and where it all started. It started with groups like SOM so respect the shit

  • Brotha it was a joke ok reread what i said and im glad they gave me thumbs down cuz lil wayne sucks dick!!!

  • I guess I missed that but you proved a point that not everyone likes lil wayne. i understand now

  • yeah. its coo no big bro.

  • Epic hiphop

  • shits too good. been blasting this one all dAY

  • you have to remeber that real music isnt about music.

  • Fuck this shit is insance what happned to hip hop? we need real artists like this these days, kids r growin up listenin to shit that send s a fake image and fake lyrics its bad!

  • send dis on every mainstream page ha someone will get da message

  • @LyricalQuickblade - Couldn't have said it better my self. I blast this kind of music everywhere I go. These are the kinds of cats that should be getting paid for laying the foundation that all the crap rap sprang up from today.

  • @LyricalQuickblade im a kid but i dont listen to new music. why would i wanna listen to a bunch of pussys talk about money and swagg? its sadd. thank god my parents listen to real music. haha

  • @LyricalQuickblade Growing up to be sluts and try hard pimps ..

  • @SirHollySon

haha seriously story of some of my friends

  • @LyricalQuickblade im 14 nd i agree with u,+im tired about swagg,i mean i like sum of this new shit but chances are they dont play it on rideo

  • Yeah, this is another classic for the underground to put in their archives.Souls and Hiero are always doing their thing without trying to be like everybody else. That`s what makes them so dope. "Shun the mainstream". That`s what I say.

  • this album was super savv. I love how hiero just makes you grow onto their evolution. same characters, same old bag of tricks...but its brand new classics everytime, can you dig it? the chemistry is just....wow. I wrote a report on these savvs.

  • "saws"...never heard that before. Anyways, classic after classic for sure. Each beat, each plot, classic. Man I need to listen to this song each morning to get some motivation to find the perfect mate. "I hustle w/friends, even tussle w/them...." "It's all about your work ethic, it'll work check it". hahah hell yeah.

  • been lookin for this track for a while. much props. classic
