MMA has demystified Martial arts to a degree and anyone with a modicum of wind and bravery can pick up a few basic kicks, a rear naked choke and a knee technique in a week or two and get into a cage and brawl. Rear Naked takes literally 1 minute to learn, but learning to USE it takes a long time.
