  • @laurjack , Yes.

  • For the record, Nikos...can you stop sending me the same message over and over again...the bunch of losers are the ones that are so talentless they keep stealing from Alexander Mcqueen....and turning it into a commercial for their blah. This is Art. The "assistant" who used to work for him who then went over to Cadbury and sold the concept was well....a charlatan & a loser! So if you don't like what I wrote, don't read it.....go pester Cadbury..I stand by what I wrote about this! :)

  • if cadbury didn't copy it, I wouldn't have know Alexander McQueen did it first. It's true art.

  • beautiful imagery, such a pity it's kate moss, she is so unappealing...

  • @AbsentWithoutLeaving My thoughts exactly!

  • This may be one of the most hauntingly beautiful works of art I have ever seen... like a spectral Fashion Phantome! This is the most creative and original use of hologram technology I have seen to date. Talk about endless potential! I have no idea what some of you are carrying on about!

  • god save mcqueen.

  • @laurjack

If it was from the Jewish Communist Propaganda Film, Swindler's List, then was McQueen a Shyster, or did he just work for Shysters?

  • @CelticSouthland its "schindler's list" ;)

  • Tuve la suerte de poder ver ese holograma en la exposición del Met de Nueva York en un prisma... dos meses después aún me pone los pelos de punta ver este video... alucinante

  • this was even more beautiful when I saw it at the exhibition at the met today. His work was so hauntingly beautiful, crestfallen, romantic yet inspiring. I'm sad to say that we won't see any new work from him. He was a genius that can't be replaced. I'm happy that Kate Moss was the model for this piece because both mcqueen and moss are legends already. This will go down in history

  • Exquisite!!! Brought me to tears...literally.

  • when I saw this at the exhibit I almost burst into tears. His amazing work, it's so beyond spectacular and moving I can't even begin to describe it. What a talented artist. This is the one exhibit I have seen that I can walk away from saying I am truly changed. Incredible. Seriously, just breath taking.

  • just saw this at the McQueen exhibit last week, it was chilling ... the music, the set up, the beautiful dress, but most of all- knowing these were the last of such genius of a man :*( brought me to tears ...

  • Michael Jackson, Chaplin, Fellini, Brando, Rembrandt from fashion.

  • he was a true genius.

  • I saw this at the Met this last weekend. Tears in my eyes. What made it even more riveting was the quotation by McQueen on the wall next to it: "There is no way back for me now. I am going to take you on journeys you never dreamed were possible." Indeed, he did.

  • @VivaPorSiempre

I eny you for seeing the exhibition. I so much hope it will some day come to Vienna!

    The quotation gave me shivers....

  • oh how i miss him. when i watch back the show i want to cry because it's such a shame that the world's greatest talent is gone so quickly

  • saw this at his exhibit in met, it took my breath away

  • OMG.......Wonderful....

  • he was like the Tim Burton of Fashion. R.i.p, he was an amazing designer <3

  • The show at the MET was some event.

  • this is so beautiful. he was such a genius. It's a huge loss for the world not to be able to see what he would've done next. Rip McQueen. <3

  • Alexander McQueen

  • Was at the Met like many of you... truly, truly amazing. Had no idea it would be this......

  • i went to the MEt 2

  • @laurjack OuiOui:)

  • I saw it at the MET yesterday. Speechless!

  • is she wearing that divine famous oyster dress here?

  • Truely and utterly beautiful

  • @laurjack it is!!

  • This is perfection

  • can someone please tell me who plays this music?

  • @pptubbie John William-

    Schindler's List

  • Anyone know why I assumed that there was no film of this?

I can't figure out why I've never looked it up until now.

  • @koalakiss86....your answer to this thread...kinda proved my hypothesis about braindead & chocolate! :) Quelle dommage!

  • how touching and the dress looked amazing kate looked amzing mqueen forever such a sad loss

  • Long Live McQueen <3

  • Which collection is this? I wanna see the whole show.

  • @phoneylala90 widows of culloden, it was the finale

  • why is schindler's list playing?? now i'm just thinking about the holocaust :(

the display is still beautiful tho

  • its not a hologram, its not even close to been one. its litterally just a picture projected onto 4 peices of flat glass inside the pyramid, wich is very hard to see since its dark and the pyramids glass gets in the way.

  • @oBLACKIECHANoo

Oh, really? Then why is the whole world, including credible sources like style.com referring to this iconic moment in fashion history as the "kate moss hologram"?

I mean really, I would totally discredit everyone else because YOU said it wasn't.

  • @phoneylala90 maybe because im a 3d artist and a special effects expert, this has being done in many places, they refer to it as a "hologram" because it looks like one and is the easiest way to describe to people. if you watch other videos of it, you will see the glass gleam on the inside.

  • @phoneylala90 Never should anyone doubt CREDIBLE SOURCES such as STYLE.COM, these sources are CREDIBLE GOD DAMNIT!!! Who would dare to cast a doubt on such infallible credible sources as STYLE.COM!!! In the name of all that is decent and right and good, leave such stalwarts of credibility such as STYLE.COM alone!!! ALONE!!!! I say, you savage, lying, discrediting shameful mess of a being!!!

  • @koilikethefish

Wow, you should really do theatre.

  • @phoneylala90 You should keep yourself situated at places like style.com, near credibles sources, your local mall, but certainly never near a dictionary or anyone who can tell you what a HOLOGRAM is.

  • @koilikethefish

And you should keep your dirty ass with people just as disgraceful as you are, certainly AWAY FROM THIS PAGE. If you don't have anything useful to say, then keep the hell out of my conversation.

  • @phoneylala90 Filthy mouth. This is not an actual hologram. STYLE.COM is your type of place. Maybe if you went to the theatre once in awhile or did anything of the kind, you wouldn't embarrass with your lack of vocabulary, filthy mouth, siting ugly sites like STYLE.COM, and responding snootily and stupidly on topics of which you know nothing.

  • @koilikethefish

What the fuck are you talking about? The fact that you hate people who like art and fashion if your problem, so deal with it on your own time. Don't go deflecting your issues on other people. The conversation didn't even involve you, so the topic has NOTHING to do with you. I'm not even going to argue that everywhere in the world, it is referred to as a hologram, even if its not. So take your issues away from this page. Im done wasting my time with stupid bitches.

  • @phoneylala90 I like people who like art and fashion. I do not like people who like style.com and ignorantly correct people who know what they are talking about, while they should be shutting up and learning something. It is referred to as a hologram, you were told so, but did not shut up and went on a little rant about style.com and credible sources. You know about style.com, you do not know art and fashion.

  • @koilikethefish

You know nothing about me except that I challenged some guy about what a hologram is. Nothing about art, or fashion or anything with the slightest substance. So keep your explosive hostilities under control. If you don't, I can guarantee, life won't like it, nor will karma.

Time wasting with stupid bitches? over.

  • @koilikethefish what is style.com?

  • what song did he used?

  • Rest in Peace! Its been a year now and you are truly missed

  • ... Feed Me

  • yeah they should give credit where its due.....

  • Music by John Williams, (Schindlers List) Played by Tasmin Little (A British violinist)

    wasted on her

  • McQueen

  • All the elements in this video are as beautiful as they can get.

    Clothes by Alexander Mcqueen (RIP)

Modelling by Kate Moss (So beautiful, she can carry off any look)

Music by John Williams, (Schindlers List) Played by Tasmin Little (A British violinist) with whom I have had the thrill of meeting and playing with...such an amazing and well thought out yet natural piece of art.

  • Moss + Mcqueen = <3

  • † RIP McQ.

  • It's gorgeous. It's like a dream...

  • I've fallen in love with this dress and how Kate Moss is wearing it!!!

  • Amazing

  • now that's art.

  • wooh... magnificent!.. ; )

  • Jill Scott - Imagination/Crown Royal Suite

  • this was fucking tight I wish I was there to see it , even Kate Moss wasn't there...

  • i never knew him, but i miss him ;( ... the worst lost ever ...

  • i absolutely love this video so elegant and beautiful yet stunning and epic to watch.

alexander mcqueen was a true artist.

just a shame they are using a similar video for the flake advert ¬¬.

  • I bet you a lot of of the views attached to this video are as a result of the Flake advert

  • Beyond cool. Dude was such a visionary. Such a shame he is gone. Makes me sad.

  • I am so sorry that the talent and artistry of Alexander Mcqueen is being copied by a bunch of losers who sell cheap chocolates to brain-dead morons of the world. RIP. Please sue Cadbury Flake for stealing your amazing artistic vision and making a joke/trash out of it.

    WE miss you. McQueen!

  • @ceciliawyu LOL

  • @ceciliawyu im not brain dead.. i love cadbury chocolate.. jerk.

  • @ceciliawyu you said it!!!!!

  • @ceciliawyu when you say bunch of losers?

  • @nikos576 Advertising morons who stole his ideas and cheapened it to a chocolate commercial 3 months after his suicide....is that clear ? No dignity for artist or the art. :(

  • John Williams - Lullaby for an angel (music)

  • prefere the flake advert.

  • the flake advery really took the piss out of this

  • Comment removed

  • Am I the only one who thinks she looks like a jellyfish?

  • @thechocolover its possible that a jellyfish served as the inspiration for this... Lee was known for his love of scuba diving and drew a lot of inspiration from it. You can see the influence in a lot of his work =]

  • @tommskins haha! that explains it. but it's beautiful all the same :)

  • This was such an obvious was of reversing the tide - because whether or not his line sold (it did not) McQueen's shows were never missed. The veil floats off her face in an image reminiscent of the virgin mother and thus ensues an angelic & ethereal vision of Moss- not a demon....an angel. A love letter from a devoted friend became the decade's most enduring & beautiful images to emerge from the world of fashion. RIP Lee.

  • It cost her some lucrative contracts.During the prior show I mentioned, McQueen (who was quite shy & rarely gave more than an embarrassed seeming wave after his shows) walked to end of the catwalk & exposed the T-shirt under his shirt which was lettered "WE LOVE YOU KATE". This image was composed for his next couture show & is so obviously a love letter to a dear friend (Moss was his "bridesmaid" for his commitment ceremony many years ago).

  • For all those making comments (flattering or not) about why Kate Moss was chosen, anyone who is unaware should know that she was one of his dearest friends. His show prior to this one took place during the unbelievable demonization of Moss that seemed to go on forever (at least in London) when she was snapped using cocaine at a birthday party. (OMG! Stop all the presses!! Skinny model uses coke at a party!!!) It was silly & it's hard to believe how vicious the press was...

  • does anyone know what the music used in this is?

  • @loufembot sounds like "list of Schindler" movie theme (maybe wrong ?)

  • @shinyday your definatly right

  • @loufembot

it's from the motion picture "The Pianist" by Roman Polanski

  • @boypl1978 schindler's list actually!

  • this is so beautiful

  • why he is killed himselves ,he is so geniers and cute pure heart baby ,so much pepole love him and like him

  • @alexplot i totally agree. couture is the last bastian of fashion excess. and it needs to be celebrated! dior couture makes me drool.

  • incredible. I am actually speechless.

    Kate Moss is absolutely breathtaking.

McQueen, you have done yourself justice here.

  • I think this was his way to say goodbye to Isabella...

  • BORN WITH A KNOB

  • it's hard to believe you could just walk through her. it look so real! pure genius!

  • Hauntingly Beautiful---from a Mad-Man Genius.

    Thank You Alexander McQueen...RIP

  • This is a masterpiece!

  • someone should do a hologram of mcqueen for their runway show!

  • It's the theme music from Schindler's List by John Williams - in the film it's played by Itzhak Perlmann but not sure who is playing here (it's not Itzhak) - genius synthesis of art, fashion, video. Lee R.I.P. you were the best!

  • @glossy104 Boston Symphony Orchestra/Itzhak Perlman(show Alexander McQueen fall 2006 ) I fond audio....

    Thanks to you..

  • name of the music is from Schindler's list .Very good music I think by ennio mericoni

  • it's by John Willians =)

  • does anyone know the name of the music ??

  • Creepy dude, looks like some dead spirit from the exorcist or some shit!

  • Simply tops!

  • im thrilly moved...

  • Enjoying the McQueen videos, would have loved to have and would still love to have one of his handbags, unfortunately too poor for one at the minute!

Does anyone know how to complain about the vastly inappropriate advert next to the video? 'How will you look old?' Does anyone at YouTube possibly considered how this may be in bad taste when placed next to a video about a recently deceased individual?!

  • oh god how old are you 48?

  • @rayolacer No! Your point?

  • Beautiful. RIP Alexander Lee McQueen :(

  • @IBUSTSHOTS WTF is your problem?!! Hes dead!! Cant you show any respect??!! When you die, do you want people to talk about you like that?!! Your just a stupid troll who wouldnt say that to anyones face.

  • @Shopaholic4395.

Don't waste your time on IBUSTSHOTS. Considering how much this user "hates" McQueen, he/she sure spends the time to obsessively spam McQueen's greatest collections. That user is just pitiful and sad.

    RIP Lee McQueen.

  • too bad it's tha retard kate moss, bones and tiny brain! skinny is shit.

  • @snappycruise clothes look better on thin ppl though

  • @jacd2k9 you barely need tissue and you can't see it; Salma Hayek is perfect, but moss, c'mon

  • @snappycruise Its not about in the real world though like shes probably sexier to most ppl but clothes look better on kate, and its a career they shouldnt be like oh its not fair on fat ppl but its not about being fair its a job and if the designer prefers the look of clothes on skinny ppl then thats his choice and theres nothing bad about that

  • MILLE FOIS MERCI ALEXANDER MC QUEEN.

  • Beautiful. And sad, in the present context. He was a visionary...

  • wich is that gorgeous song???????????

  • Schinder's list. it the original soundratk

  • a true artist. he will be missed

  • His creations were divine, he brought art to fashion in a way never before seen.

  • "We love you Lee"!

  • SUBLIME

  • incredible

  • You know, IBUSTSHOTS, whoever you are...for someone who hated the man so much, you're clearly obsessed with him...You've got comments attached to loads of his clips on here. Your vicious hatred says much more about you than him. You come across like a self-hating closet case...and sadly for you...you obviously can't stop thinking about this guy. Why else would you be on here spouting vicious bile about someone you never knew. Get help dude and find something constructive to spend your time on.

  • @josephadeamo Couldnt have said it better myself :)

    RIP Lee McQueen :(

  • Comment removed

  • @josephadeamo another reason why I sometimes wonder if he was murdered.

  • @IBUSTSHOTS for someone with so much hate for this man, you sure watch a lot of his vids...

  • I saw him whe he was starting and he touched me .. maybe to dark but too truly..life sometimes is too dark...R.I.P.

  • absolute genius. devastating loss

    RIP

  • Ana Wintour said he was one of his generation's greatest talents, I'd say he was more than that.

There are very few, and I mean very very few who had the bold imagination of Mc Queen and could back it up with the impeccable craft he had.

He was one of the greats of all time, I will miss him.

  • Very sad day in fashion, I wonder why, he had talent, he had passion, he had done what so many cant, make people look, get a reaction. Your style your life will be sadley missed!!!RIP Alexander"lee"Mcqueen

  • There is exellence....and then there is magic....the magician left us.....but left his magic within us....how lucky can we be.....

  • It's a piece from Schindler's List. Absolutely beautiful.

  • We lost a great artist. Many lost a visionary, friend and inspiration.
