I've never seen anyone use their thumb to play like that. I think you may have some potential, but get someone to show you how to properly fingerpicking and it will make a huge difference in your sound and ability.

1) use your index, middle, and ring finger. If you don't start usin' em, you'll almost never get it down.

2) Keep practicing; not sayin' you're bad, but you did slaughter Dust in The Wind.

it was ok but you need to practice some of the songs a lot more, like dust in the wind, that sounded nothing like it and not in a good way. and try not to use your thumb so much, just makes things harder
