  • Man Above the Rim sound TRACK,, MAN MEMORIES !!!

  • #46 original version was done by The Spinners back in the 70s I think. One of the greatest songs of all time.

  • the golden years is mine !!

  • what about gangstas paradise??

  • Jump by Kris Kross is one of my favorite songs. I heard it last night at Scotties Skateland.

  • Man what the fuck happened to rap.

  • Early 90's fashion and hairstyles are so embarrassing...

  • @astayonix still better than 2011 tight pants...

  • @astayonix WTF ! really?

  • lol im pretty sure 2pac and biggie made more than 50 songs and there better than every song on this list.

  • @PaperchaseTv KRS/ RAKIM/ PE / XCLAN: that's sophisticated hip hop appealing to my intellect.

neither biggie or pac can match their skills

  • only biggie and 2pac should earn this topic

  • DOPE SHIT BROO ...

  • What the hell is Lil Wayne doing on there

  • Regulate is a classic g-funk song Warren G feat Nate Dogg(r.i.p) that should have been the first song played on here. The rest of the songs are dope too lol even back in the day I used to listen to hot boyz. 90s kid right here

  • Yo man pay attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the only one i liked on the video was kriss kross jump

  • hotboys suck! lol

  • @tigzhalas lol..

  • epic classific

  • I like the early 90s hiphop but by late 90's its starting too negative for me, I can't relate to it. Bit of an unusual compilation, thankfully most of it good.

  • kris kros los mejores!!

  • Cell Therapy beat screwed up sounds hella better

  • I dont kmow many of these artists, but I guess its because I didnt start listening to rap until 2002 when I was 10 years old.

  • thanks mark :) search for "Detroit formula one" if you LOVE 90's hip hop!! the golden era :))

  • Your countdown lost all credibility when you put hot Boyz and Kriss Kross on it

  • good video u should check outvideo's. Search for crack city dvd!

  • 2000s music is the stupidest era ...cheer up old school fan ...make our music back ..

  • sooo damn good <3

  • Though I was born in 94' and my generation of Hip Hop sucks. I still listen to Old School Hip Hop, Mostly West Coast, cause at the late 80's & early 90's had "Gangsta Rap" thanks to N.W.A. Rappers in my generation isn't even gangster they act as if they are cause they was born in the hood but know they don't wanna kill anybody. They some Pussies. Old School>>>> New School & Chopped & Screwed>>>>>> Auto-Tune.

  • @DoubleNineGunna Don't worry you got The Beiber. LOL.

  • @ThePokerfacemama WTF? DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?

  • FUCK LIL WAYNE!!!! hip-pop-rock lil midget

  • JUMP JUMP!!! Makes you want to jump.

  • regulate was like tha only thing i liked on this....

  • old skoo mix on my channel!

  • sometimes i rhyme slow sometimes i rhyme quick is my jam

  • just cause u hate lil wayne doesnt mean they shouldn be on this list.. damn grow up music is music..and back then everybody loved wayne before he went 'real mainstream; now he owns this shit.and the list is for 90s hits not '90S FAMOUS/LEGEND RAPPERS U WANT ON THE LIST' .i swear ppl are slow makes me wonder .. good list man..90s had 'HITS'.. hint

  • @jaysoofly100 Nah kid. Noone loved Lil Wayne even back in those days. Hot Boyz & co were wack, materialistic, didn't rhyme about anything and only blew up because of Master P and Juvenile singlehandedly flooding the southern market. the only people outside the south that liked them were women (because the tracks were dancier and Miami Bass-esque) Go research. I mean in the 90s the people Wayne was competing were light years (still are) ahead of him.Kriss Kross rhyme better than him

  • @JayGriffinblaze wrong. stop sayin NO ONE LOVED LIL WAYNE thats like you saying he has no fans at all thats like me sayin no one loved flavor flav and he had fans just cause he was the hypeman dancing around. stop putting everybody in the same boat as you. you cant speak for everybody you dont have that power you just hate wayne not millions of others and when i said everybody i meant mostly his haten crowd are half his old music fans that loved wayne back then then now

  • @jaysoofly100 **sigh** You youngsters piss me off. No I can't speak for everyone. But I can speak for people that follow hip hop culture. It's hard to explain it to youngsters from nowadays because they don't experience the culture in the same way. Back then we were unusual, outcasts, our music & culture was constantly under fire & being ignored. Politicians passed laws to restrict where we danced, played, content, how we made the music all sorts -so ppl really invested in the music u know?

  • @jaysoofly100 Obviously he had fans. I quite clearly indicated how Hot Boyz blew up and where there fanbase was. Fact is outside the south USA, that genre of music wasn't very popular. FACT. And noone went to see P.E. becuz they loved Flav, they went cuz of Chuck. Seriously child in the 90s Wayne was a child, why would older heads listen to a child with crap lyrics when there were so many others? you kids can't except that older heads don't rate your superheroes & u can't understand why.

  • why is it all these shitty southern niggas the start of the list sucks the hot boys shouldnt be on nobodys list u cant understand them

  • @TheEaglesfanindc You got that right. This list is garbage.

  • LUV KRIS KROSS! MCLyte is one of the GREATEST female MC's EVERRRR!

  • hot boyz ass,lil wayne ass,youngmoney ass

  • this list is so lame!

  • Jump - Kris Kross... Hell Yeah!!! They don't make 'em like that anymore

  • the essence of rap :)

  • i wish rap was more like this today i was born in 92

  • wtf?

  • @damnedbella They should create a couple more songs.

  • @damnedbella excuse me 2pac was the shit the fuck u talkin bout foo

  • class of 95' !!

  • Monie Love? lmao...

  • lol hot boys, lil wayne was like 15 if not younger

  • there are a lot of hip hop songs of the 90's waaaaay better than songs in the list here, but i appreciate the upload

  • jump jump arggo berln F.L.E.R

  • you mean in 10 years worth of rap music you couldnt find a 100 songs better than that kriss kross one

  • #49 & 43 used 2 be my shyt!!!

  • idc wat nobody say yall jus cant fuck wit da 90's man everything was real then the hip hop, the r&b just everything. I wish all the old school artists especially the real rappers like Tupac, Eazy, Biggie, were still here to teach these new fools how its suppose to be done cuz apparentlydey don't kno . And when the groups sang in the 90's you could feel it, it seem as though they were singing str8 from the heart givin it their all! As u can tell Im a 90's Bby!♥

  • Kriss Kross is the shit, I still got that on cassette.

  • Part One....... BullSHIT MIX

  • This was when rap/hip-hop made sense and was normal :)

  • dude the hot boys .. are u serious ?

  • is that a kriss kross remix??

  • damn buddy nice and smooth is the only jam in here that would be top 100 for the 90's kriss kross /hip hop is that a joke??

  • @inkredibuff "Nice and Smooth" is the only jam in here that would be top 100 for the 90's and "Regulate" was the last song on the video. IS THAT A JOKE?!?!?

  • @dawb86 thats my word and im stickin to it..the monie love song is ok but.....warren g ? i could name a 100 rap songs better than that...easily

  • @inkredibuff It's not just that "Regulate" is one of the best but it's also one of those records that defines 90s hip hop. I think some of the greatest albums/artists/songs of all time are overrated but that doesn't mean they're NOT the greatest. Now when u say 100 songs better than, are u talking about personal preferences or genre/era defining songs? That's all I mean.

  • @dawb86 music is all about personal preferences..i might like a song that someone else doesnt..just becusa its popular doesnt make it good."see todays radio rap music or popular rappers..

.not that good"if i made a list of the top100rap songs regulate would not be on it.as far as era /genre defining whatever.name it and i bet not one of these songs wold be on my list..the people to this page seem to agree a lot of negative comments im suprised you like it your era defining regulate is 43rd!!!

  • i wish hip hop was the same as it was back in the 90's and early 2000's

  • 60 had disco 70s had old country -rock 80s had rock and hiphop 90s had hiphop and techno 2000- a bunch of crap 2010 crap that turned into shit. i guess the 90s had alot of shit to the whole boy band scene something was just very homosexual about them... a bunch of dudes that that dont play an instrument that call them a band.

  • Ilove hip hop<3

  • It brings tears to my eyes every time i look back at my era the golden era

i cant even put my feelings into words that will show yall the pain i feel when i hear songs like "They reminisce and Still not a Player" i love it to much to listen to it every time i hear a new song it hits me on how much Hip hop, Rap, and yes even fukin RnB has changed to were i dont even want to listen to any kind of music

RANT RANY i no but damit man i love the 90's to much to just let this go

    R.I.P 1990's T T

  • The 90s was a Truly Classic Era.. I miss when Hip Hop was pure..

  • GOD BLESS HIP HOP

  • Blessed to be born when Rap/Hip hop music was that ish!!!
