I don't know why but I love this jrpg series, and especially this game more than any of the more well known rpgs like the tales series, fire emblem, golden sun, final fantasy etc. I don't know whether it's the animation and visual style, the music or the gameplay, but this game is a gem. If you order anything from Japan, get this game, it's just that good.

Is there even a Summon Night anime ?? I certainly never heard of it before, because as far ass I know there are only anime cutscenes. Give me a heads up if you do find one though. Meanwhile I'll do some sniffing of my own, asking around a bit

Anime cutscenes? As in the animated openings. The only anime they have is based on Summon Night 4, which came before this game. In order to find it, you'll have to go through deep Japanese sites.
