one thing i hate about the sky canyon boss is when you have to fight him again in the space level, you never know when the gun will fire. because the level background is black, which makes it almost impossible to see the laser of the gun right before it shoots. fckin annoying

When I got to the Egg Saucer/Sky Canyon's boss, I played that boss at least maybe 10 times before I got him, but I found out that the beam can kill you instantly even with rings(it has happened to me) like the giant hand, but I think the laser cannon is the harder part, to me that beam has screwed me over than anything in the entire game!!

It's funny you mention excuses to keep Knuckles in the story while keeping him on Angel Island. It reminds me of, and warning extreme nerd territory here, in Star Trek, they had Worf on Deep Space 9, but had to keep finding excuses to have him around Picard and the others in movies and whatnot.

here's some info for you to know clement, if you press the jump button while on a ramp or at the end of a grind rail you get a higher jump

sky canyon isnt so bad but you either need to know the R trick or the Ramp trick otherwise you'll be stuck

I'd guess that Knuckles isn't guarding the Master Emerald as often nowadays because honestly, if Eggman dosn't have it, then it's probably still there.

I mean really, would YOU take the time and money to fly up to Angle Island, and then have to DRUDGE through all the forests 'n shit just for the Master Emerald, when all of the other emeralds are much easier to get to (usually) and the Master Emerald itself not giving any kind of power as compared to the regular Chaos Emeralds?

funny thing about that boss at the end, when i first got to it i was actually playing in a pretty bright area so the screen wasn't as clear and my vision isn't too good so with that combonation i thought Eggman and Knuckles were both taking control of the robot i saw Knuckles in his normal spot but i thought Eggman was in the turrent

Clement, you should mention that the more rings you get the quicker you go to boost mode (Where the afterimage follows you) and the ring counter spins faster as you get into it. Also you should say that the melee attack in boost mode can carry on your momentum

Have any of these people played Sonic Rush? There are more cheap deaths and bottomless pits in Altitude Limit ALONE than in the entirety of Sonic Advance 2, yet that game is very highly praised. What gives?
