this is one USC Trojan fan who was won over by that performance almost 5 years ago, and has always vouched for Boise in every conversation or argument that has arisen since then. @AndrewGW88 uhm bsu refused because they wanted 900k to 1million $ out of the game.nebraska didnt want to. and nebraska gave 600k for a home n home vs WYOMING, 700k for a one and done with LOUISIANNA LAFAYETTE! boise was asking 300-400k more then wyoming and 200-300k more then ULL. i think thats pretty reasonnable considering that when boise played vtech, the game was said to be the most watched college football game in espn HISTORY bringing almost 10million viewers. nebraska should pay the 1mil

Well, it is "next year", and at this point BSU has to beat Nevada convincingly, then hope someone knocks off Oregon and/or Auburn to meet one of these in the NCG (BSU should leapfrog TCU based on their weak remaining game). So will it happen? And if this scenario plays out, will the BCS yield the NCG to a non-BCS team? If they don't, pandemonium will errupt and they will always be known as the monopolistic, insular, self-serving organization that should be investigated and disbanded.

@jdhaist13 hey buddy, first off get your years correct utah played the fiesta bowl in 2005, not 2004. They also played pittsburgh, a team that was ranked 21st at the time...hardly an even matchup. Boise played a high calibur team in oklahoma. So no, Utah did not give real hope to all non-bcs qualifiers because they played a team that was much worst than them. Boise played a team that was supposed to beat them, Utah did not.

This was one of the most defining moments, possible the biggest moment, for the smaller schools like they mentioned. This proves that you don't need to be bunched up by the media to be good. Hopefully all of this media crap will not make Boise soften as it has done to other teams.
