How to print your screen ( on Windows Vista )

Thank you so much angelusibadd. I have tried in vain some time ago and gave up. Even the Microsoft site was useless; they are giving XP instruction for Vista. I got up this morning again in dire need to do a print screen and came up blank. I had to print on paper! Thanks again.

if u have a laptop people have been saying it wont work. but. try right clicking an pasting that way. if that doesnt work you have to go to edit and paste. if this still doesnt work you prolly have a mac ;)

It doesn't work for me because when i press prt sc which is on the same button as home and go to paint, it pastes the last thing i copied. for example, if I copy a link to something and not copy anything at all then later press the button and go to paint and paste it, it pastes the link I copied earlier. I am using a Vista laptop. Help me! :(

maybe try restarting your computer, if that doesnt work, maybe you need to turn on your scroll lock O_o

wow what a dinosaur, as with all old computers, they arent as up to date, which is a problem, try just pressing prt screen, and opening up paint, and pasting it on there, if not i wish i still had my old compaq to help you, my best advice to you if it doesnt work, is either getting a screen recorder thing, or going to best buy and asking about it :)

theres no paste in the edit drop down list? if not, then maybe that hey doesn't work on your keyboard? or your keyboard isnt hooked up properly? hm, or maybe your "easy keys" aren't working, you will have to click paste on your own and not press crtl V

ah that is why, a laptop doesn't function the same as a desktop computer, easy keys, or shortcut keys don't work. since I'm not on a laptop i can't figure it out but maybe try plugging a real keyboard and real mouse into your laptop, instead of using the ones that are on their :) if that doesn't work comment again
