mmm good question!! But Elves do not play a big part in our mythologie!! It is more about mountain-ghosts or swamp-ghosts!! So more about ghosts than Elves!! The mythologie of germany was signified by the ancient german cultures, like the Germanen!!

(in German Elben or Alben) is because scotland used to be called albba and elfin and elpin were old pictish king names, the nordic vikings described the picts as elfs, the irish (celts) called scottish fairys and later the romans called the scottish Picti meaning painted people because of tattoos like at 3:43 which later became pixie, although us native pictish scottish are real elfs we are "Wood elfs" or "lightelves"

we have Blackelves and Darkelves (a mix of Black and Lightelves), too.

They are evil in our Mythologiie^^ our word for Nightmare is Alptraum (Albentraum/ Elvendream), they said if you have a Nightmare an Elve is sitting on your Breast.

sure, Germans have the same culture an mythology as the other northern nations. We are one folk. But the society tries to forget the German culture as they associate it with right-wing extremism. Thats so sad! Old Germanic places and relicts are getting derlicted :-(

actually, elves are from nordic mythology, as such danish, english and northern german mythologie.

They were called alben in germany, elves in britain and I think elve or elver in danish.

So the mythologic roots are in denmark, england and germany....

@Andreyaza Actually it's nordic mythology - sweden, norway, iceland and denmark, in swedish it's älvor för female elves and alver för male elves. I was asking if you had them in german mythology as well. German and english mythology doesn't count to nordic, especially not english. Nordic probably have A LOT of similarities to german becase of the bond though.

actually it is nordic. BUT it is germanic myth, they were all connected. So

its nothing of wiking origin, but probably of other germanic tribes.

It must have originated maybe in sweden, denmark or norway and it fastly came to britain and from denmark to germany.

I think all these myths are not easy to pull out anymore, cause our origins are all the same. actually, most indo-arian folks have ideas of "elves", they are just called different (like peris or dshinns).

Ich habe erst 2 mal oder 3 mal Magic gespielt. Ich kaufe die Karten, weil ich sie sammel, denn ich mag das Artwork, das Design der Karten sehr!! Die Karten sehen fantastisch aus!! Ich sammel die Karten seitdem ich ungefähr 14 Jahre alt bin. Ja, die Karten sind leider nicht sehr billig!! Dies ist leider ein Nachteil!!
