@macromonarch123 On each card if you look at the bar that tells what type of card it is

for example: Creature - Elephant Soldier. If you look to the right of that there will be a little symbol that changes depending on what set it is from (Core set, Innistrad...etc). Depending on what color it is that determines its rarity. Black = Common, Silver = Uncommon, Gold = Rare, and Red = Mythic Rare.
