  • 1) You should stick with just watching YouTube. Look at the video again. There's' no turbo anywhere inside the engine bay. 2) You're a dumbass because you know shit about motors. Can't you read it says a 2.0 LS VTEC. The 2 liter comes from the LS being bored from 1.8 to 2.0. It's not B20 because I didn't get the block from the CRV. So get your shit right retard and go read a book.

And btw Honda doesn't produce cars with "toy technology" they produce cars that are efficient and fun to drive, i've seen tuned civics destroy some of the best perfomance cars out on the track, it's not all about peak hp.

  • @suckmygl0ckz more like low lift cam for mpg and high lift cam after vtec engages to get the power. you get the best of both worlds lol. i get 25-28 mpg in my boosted civic, 10 psi on a t3/t4 50 trim and 450cc injectors, i drive it every day, except when it rains bc of traction issues. and i have enough mods minus the bottom end on my engine to push up to 400whp or when the sleeves give out. put a nonvtec engine boosted vs a vtec engine and you will see the vtec engine flows more cfm. its fact

  • @suckmygl0ckz put a turbo on what? the hatch in the video? its built for all motor. for a all motor car, its quick. yeah if they built the bottom for 8.5:1 compression and left it 2.0, sleeved it, and threw at gt40r or 42r, it be a monster, but i don't think that's the goal of this car. in a civic 200whp is enough to beat most cars around town and i do understand lol. its not a bunch, but in fwd traction is hard after 200-250. and to finish, valve liftin+turbo=the goods :) now lets just watch...

    I have a similar setup but stock 81mm bore. I run open header and an extended intake with a velocity stack at the track too. Catback exhaust and cold air on the street :)

  • Most builders like to use LS crankshaft because you could feel instant/ or more power due to torque at a lower RPM. For most drivers, they drive their vehicle at low RPM than high RPM. Power may be desired at lower RPM ranges for most driving application.

  • B16 transmission is annoying for street driving.  We tested both B16 and GSR transmission. The GSR transmission is better for this application of racing.

  • Idling is fine. It idles below 1000rpm and does not bog. GSR tranny.

  • I understand that you had to have it bored to around 85mm most likely, and the chassis is lightweight, but what else did you do to that to make it run what it did?!

  • The piston and rods were custum made. The pistons were light weight and a few mods were made at the pin. Most importanty, you need a good 60 ft. The car has a CTR lsd with a GSR trans, front traction bar, and 22" slicks. These parts makes a big difference in putting your max power down to the ground.
