I love it! Many of the comments here surprise me. It's a SONG. Any woman or girl who says she's never been jealous of another, is not being honest. It doesn't mean this song is the songwriter's LIFE. You are obviously a confidant person, or you wouldn't be putting yourself and your music "out there". To write a song about an honest phase of one's life, is real. This is such a "normal" feeling and the I think the lyrics and video are adorably CUTE. People read WAY too much into things!

It is true - and sad - see my last response to @jnrmluver - no matter how great/pretty/whatever a girl is, she still focuses on wanting to be like someone else/look like someone else. it's all the stupid magazines we grew up reading with the airbrushed models :/. i like myself, but sometimes it's easy to get jealous of other people's good fortune!
