i think you should make a deep pool looking thing so if water does go through the Xcave you can use the bucket and put it in the pool looking figure.

also i would put a wall around the water so the water doesnt go thru to the rest of the cave

Tip about water for noobs:

Water will flow toward the nearest block depression, and will only flow for 7 blocks until it stops. If it goes down during that time, the 7-block counter is reset.

Firstly, he knows.

Secondly, clay has never been rare, ever.

A. In alpha you could always find it along the coast and you could find it underwater, meaning shallow pools were full of the stuff.

B. In beta/full you can find it in the aformentioned locations and in swamps.

As far as clays "rarity" goes it's not rare at all.

When collecting sand you passed a bunch of clay, a very rare rescorce.

Clay can be confused with rock. The difference is,

Rock has lines that cross through it, and clay is plain gray with like 2 dark gray dots on it
