tune your acoustic up half a step and practice/warm up on that, then when you pickp up your seven, it should be like a knife through hot butter.

I have Dimarzio Air Norton in the neck of mine and Evolution in the bridge.. the Evo does the job alright but I'm after more of a Rusty Cooley tone. Would you recommend EMG 707 or 81-7?

is there much difference in playability between your ibanez and rusty cooley guitars?

@jclp777 with my ibanez i wish everything was sunk down a little more, like the trem into the neck, i love that about the rc7, i like the ibanez neck aswell as the rc7. i modded the cutaway on the custom ibanez like the rc7, really helps for the stretching licks, its a big difference if it affects you as an individual.
