Where I live it's much cheaper to get the tiles at a home improvement or tile shop than the craft stores. I discovered that after doing my one and only mosaic project so far.

@qochemist Dear Lady you have got me on a roll and I bless you for it! The earrings could be made for under a dollar with some Wellbond and all the craft supplies us hobby crazies have around the house! This is a wonderful challenge for me as far as the tutorial is concerned, because I am going to find the cheapest way to make them.
