Simple solution. If you don't want to risk being subjected to such treatment, don't travel to countries where you feel there is no real rule of law or where they have laws you do not want to accept. Few people on this planet are actually forced to travel to the US or Iran or places like that. I've myself stopped traveling to the US when they started fingerprinting each arrival years ago. The World is full of interesting places elsewhere.

@TruthMakesPeace One thing that would help would be having a retirement age for all politicians. 70 sounds about right. When you look at pictures or video from Parliament here in the UK or the Senate in the US and so on it's like a retirement home. Half of them are asleep or may as well be for all the good they do.

@TalesOfWar I thought so as well. At the beginning of my video, the Intro Music is from iMovies Jingle section and the tune is called Half Moon Bay Short.caf. Any way I obviously click Revenue Sharing on all my videos as I am in the Partner program, and in the past always knew never to play chart music in the videos. Regarding the SOPA video I receive a email from YouTube telling me that they need me to show them I hold the licensing rights for the Intro Music.

@TalesOfWar What was really difficult about their request was that my iMovie came preinstalled on my MacBook Pro so it wasn't like I had a serial number to provide them that I owned it. Another thing that was strange, the video I made just before the SOPA video played the same intro and was accepted for Revenue Sharing. Over 3,500 views had passed before they accepted the SOPA video for revenue. Strange to say the least.

The whole war on terror is b.s. US is tiptoeing into dictatorship & the r using the fear of two or to do it. Without 911 & fear they could of never passed draconian dictatorial laws like the Patriot Act& NDAA. Those laws give the president dictatorial powers in case of national emergency.

this is a major issue i have with all social forums, we are not peer to peer, our data should reside on our own computers, no ads, no central repository for data. i take issue with who owns the data and how due process works to get the data.

I can see why the US reacted in the way they did, with the threat of terrorism being the way it is in today's society. But I think the situation could have been handled a lot better. Maybe take the couple into a back room and ask them to explain what they meant, because as you said, people these days have their own sayings. I think the say the situation was dealt with was completely unnecessary and unprofessional.

@joethetechiewiipsp I assume you have no insight into what it takes to protect Americans defense? We don't want another 9/11. Given the fact that America will be going to war with Iran here soon, the situation was dealt with fine. The FBI and US Department of HS, look into every case dealing with threats to the United States, it's not Americas fault that we have radical extremists in the Middle East that hate our way of life.
