  • This song brings back a sense of a love for our motherland. It is one of the best Chinese(Mandarin) folk songs that I first heard. I believe that the singer is upset that the old, traditional homes are being demolished to build new housing units. We need to preserve our traditional cultures as we move into modernization!!
