Stay at FITZGERALDS and get a balcony view of this. They also have loose slots and a great steakhouse reastaurant. Been going there 10 years and they treat me like a high roller, but I'm not. I get free rooms, meals, gifts and play. Theres free entertainment on Freemont street with 2 stages. If you want a change of pace, you can walk to 10 different casinos in minutes. Downtown has any type of food you want from hot dogs to steak & lobster. MORE FUN THAN THE STRIP !!!!!

THey have a zip line that flies halfway down fremont now.. Shit is FUN dude.. You're under the canopy with the show above you and above all the people milling around while you fly down the street. Starts on the Fitzgeralds end of fremont... Shits DOPE.

Fremont isn't as big as I thought it would have been. I live here and even tho it's nice a lot of places aren't as big as they look on TV. Still it's a wonderful place and Fremont is real cool place to see.

Iam at Vegas right now at Las Vegas hotel and casino downtown. I beg you not to stay anywhere in downtown even though it's dirt cheap. It was 6p.m and I had walked 2 min down the street before crack headed bums began following me. At night bums are everywhere cops are constantly arresting people on every corner it is not safe at all. Vegas strip is amazing beautiful women everywhere extremely safe place

Absolutely Brilliant - Fremont Street IS better than the Strip. You had to be there to understand. A different show each hour. And then the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon was the other great experience for me. I'd go again in a nano. Beautiful. Forget all the cynical stuff (which is also true - there is beauty in Vegas to be seen)
