  • Namaste Bhavna,I like recipe of lemon pickle very much and trying to make this pickle but I want to ask that after 10-15 days, some juice of lime get collected at the bottom of bottle so what to do with this juice ..Can I add this juice to sugar syrup or to throw it away ?..I appreciate your help..Thanks..

    Yes, you going to add to sugar syrup. We do need more juice to make great pickle...so let it be there.

    I also added less sugar. I supposed to add 21/2 cups but I added 11/2 cups only. Another hot version is coming soon with no sugar at all and my mother in low eat that only since she is diabetic. Keep enjoying.

Bawna, I'm a culinary student studying all kinds of indian cooking independently for over a year now, and trust me when I say I have watched -every single- lemon/lime pickle video on youtube and seen many more recipes online. There is no recipe I've come across that produces a pickle like the one you've shown, the one I've been searching for, for so long now. Thank you so much!

    As I said in video, yes. This is the pickle that if you make it right way, it is good for years at room temperature. Enjoy!

  • Interesting condiment. I would definitely take out the seeds though, the bitter flavor of the seeds really ruins the lemon flavor in any lemon food product that I have tried.

    Yes, I always try my best to take out seeds since once you make pickle, seeds even changes color to red and very hard to find while you eating. So always serve pickle seperately. Never use directly with any food. So that if there are any seeds left, it can be removed.Enjoy!
