autism isn't really something you should wish for your kid not to have. it makes him who he is, and it adds just that much more character to him. he seems like an amazing kid, just pay attention to the good things in life, not the bad things. he can do everything a "normal" kid can, just in different ways.

I'm afraid he does, how I wish upon wish he didn't. Most peoples with autism look no different from "normal" people. Thats why people must not judge by looks, 1in91 kids in the US have AUTISM. 1in60 Boys. If you were to attempt to have a conversation with Latrell you would know immediately know. Latrell has the usable language of a child 3-4 years old although is extemely intelligent.

@sonriseLatrell its 1 in 91 and 1 in 60 boys now, oh geez. last i check it was 1 in 110 and 1 in 70. i just graduated college and hope to work with students who have autism. he did an amazing job with this, and im glad that he has at least found some way of expressing himself. ever think of maybe getting him an instrument? he might be able to learn those things by ear since he's got musical talent and memorization skills already :)

People need to understand autism isn't something that needs to be like a swear word or like "oh he has autism avoid avoid" They can do as much as us sometimes. @shalenaiscool @shalenaiscool I have Aspergers which is a high functioning form of autism & no one would know unless I told them my daughter has moderate 2 severe autism but because she is opposite loves hugs loves being touched & tickled sometimes ppl ask me if I'm sure it was the correct diagnoses uh yeah she still covers her ears when she doesn't wanna hear something or its 2 loud

Please don't judge someone until u have gotten 2 know them no matter what race disability or religion etc

@shalenaiscool There's a saying; "If you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism." Sometime's it's clear to see and other times, you might not even realize it. My 12-year-old cousin is clearly autistic--he can't speak and has unusual mannerisms, but is incredibly bright. Other people appear normal but still have suffer from the disorder.
