As i had been at this gig I showed this to my 17 year old daughter, who, to be fair to her has reasonable musical taste. She commented that it was amazing and must have been a brilliant end to the show; for the first time in many years I reduced her to silence when I told her this was the opening track - not the encore! OMG she said what was the rest of it like? Impressive I said.Needless to say she is coming to see him the next time he's in town!

Wonderful stuff. Bruce obviously influenced the slightly younger Joe Strummer - and Joe obviously impressed Bruce too to do this great cover. These 2 guys eventually met and got on brilliantly . Pity Joe isn't aound anymore - i'd love to see him perform with the E-Street Band
