@deorwirth i just finished doing 1 song (drums & guide guitars only) what settings do u recommend i do to get a gud bass sound out of the bass guitar? & iam doing a whole rock album so can garageband give me a decent quality! should i proceed with the project??!

@bayan35 yes, no, maybe, I can't give you settings per say, Every song is going to be different mixed differently. You can get good quality out of gb. if you're just tracking 4 instruments you can probably sound as good as anything that was recorded in the 60's to a point. -tube compressors, -tape, -tube condenser mic. you can still buy all that stuff the mic is going to cost as much as the mac book pro. I use gb as a sketch pad because when I think of something I just open it up and type R.

@Davidisg0d this was just to show someone how to click in midi notes in the piano roll like I used to do with FL. There is nothing in Garage Band that is anything remotely similar to FL. The frustrating part mostly had to do with writing in my own marks on the piano roll which isn't clearly explained in the help or anyone else's tutorial on youtube. Other than picking a pre-made midi drum loop and going in and editing the notes.

@SteezeNuts for this I'm using an AKAI LPK25. it's USB. I from time to time use a M-Audio Axiom 61. But I don't really need all them keys LPK has 2 octaves and thats plenty. Normally just use the mouse a lot of times especially for drums.
