im about to switch to pro tools and i was wondering what you think is the best way to record bass and electric guitars into pro tools, right now im recording with a senhiesser e609 in front of my tube amp.
I second the idea of using the SansAmp plugin. Its a "go to" plugin that does wonders with a DI bass. Alternatively , during recording I use an actual hardware SansAmp DI to record. Either way it results in a good tone.
Hehe! Compressed to buggery.. i love it! Not only commercial stations use it - BBC R1 uses it beyond common sense xD

Thumbs up if you wish you had an English accent.

@chadvh21 I do have an english accent ;)
Not in my videos though, I have a horrible habit of putting on stupid accents in videos
