Sad to say, "Asylum" is probably NOT goty material. Yet.

The time and effort spent making revolutionary game play mechanics was a definite drawback in the actual 'content' of the game...

That said, it was still incredible, and now Rockstar has something special to build on when when sequels (inevitably) get released.

there's been a CoD since god knows when, UC2 is just a sequel. AC2 the same. and even ODST.

this game was beast i played call of duty and it is awesome, but short and easy. batman had fantastic graphics, gameplay, sound, music, storyline. i cant wait for the sequel!

I agree I personally wont uncharted 2 to win its just an excellent game all around and so is batman AA. mw2 has a very weak single player that I really dont want to play it because its boring to me to be truthful all i play is multiplayer. uncharted 2 and batman AA both have AWESOME single player and thats what really matter because not everyone has online to play play multiplayer with other people so I feel bad for the people that bought mw2 that doesnt have online.

Batman was the only game that really felt new. Wasn't building off a current series and wasn't using a familiar formula (borderlands = fallout 3 with cell shading.) Also had great voice acting, controls, and environment, not to mention just being a fun game.

Well, Batman and Borderlands are the only original games, bringing some new experience. But Batman is just better. Single prank with the third Scarecrow encounter worth it's place as the game of the year nominee.

Modern Warfare 2 is amazing, buts in a sort of cult. Borderlands was amazing, but I've been waiting for a amazing superhero game, so Batman gets my vote. =D
