  • Edward,

First of all, I would like to congratulate the excellent videos! Particularly the DC-10 .. that his panel with the GPWS was wonderful!

He wanted to leave a tip for you, make a video with the 727F operating in Brazil. If you want, then send you a route and some material information.

Another thing, do not you offer your panels, correct? If not, how do I develop one of these ... our face ... one of its DC-10 is very beautiful!

    Cheers,

  • Very Nice and Very Smooth landing crazy, your videos are the best!, congratulations from Brasil

  • That DC-10 panel just gets better all the time, Ed! I was a bit disappointed to find that Reality XP's stuff for FS9 isn't Vista-compatible, as I'm interested in their weather radar and that EPWS gauge. Perhaps they'll work in Win 7.

  • I am sorry and surprised to hear that the ST3400 is not compatible with Vista John. This is why I had my new rig custom made for Win-XP and FS9 ...so I would max my compatibility with the great addons.

  • nice landing

  • wowa good job wat FS was that and were did u get the dc10

  • I have looked under google a long time ago, but there are only text dicriptions. I`d like to see dmos.

If you want for example to buy a airliner addon you can finde many demos on youtube, for example wilco or PMDG. But concerning realityxp

    there is nothing.

If you could write a link that would be helpful.

    Thanks

  • Hello Ed. I have noticed that you are a big DC10 fan.

Could you do us favour on your next DC10 vid?

Could you make a "GPWS" test during the cockpit preparation?

I`m thinking about to get the Sandel 3400, too for my Ready for pushback, 727 and Tinmouse 732, but I can´T find any good demo-vid.

So it would be very helpful if you could give a demotaste to know which callouts exist in the callout or if they are incomplete.

It would make my decision easier.

    Thank you

  • Google the real sandel 3400 taws.

What it does this one does...it is only that I could not adjust the rad alt height.

It is a very cool piece of kit.

  • where do you get that aircraft? the cocpit looks so real! 5*

  • Good Video, 5/5

  • Very nice indeed !!!!!!!

  • cool

  • My idea worked. Congratulations

  • C'était une bonne idée merci

  • Hm? His account says that he's german LoL.

  • I've never heard these sounds before. But I'd be pretty sure that they are used in the real Z-ARL, right?

  • Well you saw the real Z-ARL cockpit with the Sandel ST3400 TAWS in it. These are the callouts from the ST3400.

As the gauge was made by Realty-XP I'm pretty sure they would be correct.

  • It doesn't really matter who makes the callouts...it could be the F.O live. The point being you need to hear them and they need to be accurate.

This woman's voice from the Sandel simply makes a refreshing change from the typical Boeing or Airbus.

  • I know ....should give him something to think about. lol

  • Well, I did not want to annoy you. I know you always try to be as accurate as possible. I am not surprised as many DC-10s are modernised today (FMC for example). My first idea was that it may have some MD-11-style callouts (I am not sure, maybe you have had them on one of your videos before?). But yours is a nice idea, it shows the high degree of customization.

  • The " Voilà " Comment At The End Is Very Funny!!! Hahaha

    Great Video!!! 5*

  • Short but great video. How do you get them so accurate?

  • Well I make a simple gauge using the stock rad alt code which tells me my rad alt when on the ground.

In the DC-10's case it was 14ft. So I adjust my rad alt to minus 14ft giving zero on the ground.

Now my callouts will be exactly right.

In this case of the Sandel ST3400 TAWS I disabled it's callouts (as they cannot be adjusted and were 14ft out).....and added the sounds to my rad alt gauge.

  • How did you get these callouts

  • A lot of Ed's stuff is custom

  • Windsorbays....search for a file at avsim called rcbgp-33.zip. This GPWS file by Rob Barendregt can be adjusted to suit any aircraft.

  • Great work Ed!

  • that's beautiful...I love how you personalize or customize the planes by adding new sounds and other features... great job man...5*...

I'm dying for getting that ilushin IL96 model of yours with that 3D panel....

    Keep up the great work...

  • That was a beautiful landing, despite this being an radio altitude call-out demo.

  • Great video !
