You need to purchase the upgrade, there's a couple of essential items before it (i think Palm Slam is one of them).

Too bad I kinda forgot about that one (I saw almost all the moves unlocked on the finished game of a friend) when I was playing.

It was damn annoying the part where I have to protect the truck before Elizabeth Grenee. The leaders die with 4 Tendrils on hard.

any kind of escourt mission in any kind of game always reeks of shittiness, game designers should realise that you can never make an escourt mission fun.

Well, gotta agree on that after the mission where I had to protect the tank before I went to fight the supreme Hunter, and rescue Dana. Annoying thin is... on the 3rd Hive, I wasted all the hunters on it's way, and the ones around the hive with the helicopter I had... then the Hydra suddenly wasted the tank in one blow... yeah, death by cutscene, that's lame.

P.S.: I was unable to repeat the same thing with the chopper.

it is powerfull actually but only against vehicles and "little" opponents.if you wanna use it > unlock the move in upgrade menu> unlock critical mass >be in critical mass > press the combination for the move which you can see in your upgrade menu hf :)
