The voice of God is the voice of Jesus. "And my sheep will know Me by my voice." The Holy Spirit convicts the soul but you are right in that there is a voice within but also Jesus will speak to you and tell you what to do and where to go. Listen to Jesus and He will guide your heart in His ways. You have to be careful listening to voices within because it can be your voice and mislead you from His WIll. God is so amazing in that He will lead us unto the truth.
