It's amazing she didn't make it big! Well, it's a fact that the British Invasion killed many up and coming careers around that time! I love this sound, but music changed forever after 1964. Only a handful of singers managed to survive it. Lesley Gore being one of my favorites!!

@Martywt43 In my opinion, 1955 to 1964 was the best time in American popular music. The 1920's were great too.
